Terms of Service

By accessing or using StoreVase ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and other parties who access or use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform following such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create a StoreVase account and use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you personally and that entity.

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@storevase.com of any unauthorised use of your account. StoreVase will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

As a merchant on StoreVase, you are solely responsible for the products and services you list, advertise, and sell through the Platform. You agree to: — Provide accurate and complete product descriptions, images, and pricing. — Fulfil orders in a timely manner and communicate proactively with customers. — Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection, data privacy, and tax regulations in your jurisdiction. — Not sell prohibited or illegal goods, counterfeit products, or items that violate third-party intellectual property rights. — Handle customer refunds and disputes in accordance with your stated return policy and applicable law. StoreVase reserves the right to suspend or terminate merchant accounts that violate these responsibilities.

StoreVase charges subscription fees for access to certain features and plans. All fees are described on the Pricing page and are subject to change with at least 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers. Transaction fees may apply depending on your plan and chosen payment gateway. You are responsible for all applicable taxes related to your subscription and your customers’ purchases. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law.

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of StoreVase and its licensors. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent. You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to StoreVase, including product images and descriptions. By uploading content, you grant StoreVase a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

You agree not to engage in any of the following: — Violating any applicable laws or regulations. — Uploading or transmitting malware, viruses, or any destructive code. — Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform. — Scraping, crawling, or harvesting user data without our express permission. — Using the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam). — Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity. Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StoreVase and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Platform. In no event shall StoreVase’s total liability to you exceed the greater of the amount you paid to StoreVase in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or ₦50,000.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. StoreVase does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content on the Platform.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. After termination, StoreVase may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.
